I was directed to your site and Quick Talk AAC via the Special Education Advisor site. I have so very much enjoyed reading your blog entries and the amazing ideas you bring to light. Thank you so very much. As an advocate and parent coach I will certainly be directing many of my clients to this page in the hope that they can be inspired and encouraged to continue to learn and grow for their children.

Today's parents face a growing challenge with respect to their child's attitude to school and their education. A good rapport with the school and teacher is essential. Many find that numerous distractions hinder their attempts to have their children focus on school and school work. This lack of focus tends to lead to disruptive behavior, low grades and lack of motivation to do their best. At the earliest age, they need to develop good study habits and sound self discipline. This is attained by establishing a structured approach to their work so it becomes second nature to them.

Mr. Goldberg has succinctly addressed the inconvenient truth. Our best and most innovative plans are facing a daunting challenge to successfully provide our children the best possible education as a foundation for their future. The hostile environment in which we currently live is fueled by more than financial constraints. Therefore, we must harness all of our resources if we are going to be what our children need us to be. Our relationships, convictions and talents will all serve an invaluable role.

This is something that is needed for families living with a special needs family member. With money flying out of the door in every direction for therapy, special schools, medications, and a myriad of other needs, a sub $200.00 tablet would be a God send. This along with the right apps could impact the person with Autism, and other developmental delays tremendously.
